Hi Buddies!
It's the holiday season and it's our wish that all the shelter and rescue pets can find their forever homes!
This week we'd like to introduce you to a couple of seniors, currently at the
Associated Humane Societies in Newark, New Jersey. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could have a Christmas miracle!
His
Petfinder page says "Reno is a gentle senior Rott/shep mix. He is a docile and laid back old man who is very easy to walk on the lead. He enjoys being petted and scratched all over. He allows you to check him over head to tail and lift his paws off the ground. He is calm and laid back with an easy going personality. He is just looking for a soft couch to live out his time on this earth. He wagged his tail when we brought out the toys but was more interested in the people interacting with him. He takes treats very gently and has no issues with being pet or handled while he eats. Reno is a sweet older dog whose tail is always wagging and looking to be loved. If you are looking for love and companionship Reno is the perfect fella for you."
Now to be fair to the kitties, we'd like to introduce you to
Peanut!
Peanut is a lovely calico, surrendered to the shelter in October. She's 7 years old and loves to be petted and having head "scritches"!
Just look at her soaking the love up!
Reno and Peanut are available for adoption at the
Associated Humane Societies in Newark, New Jersey. All pets at the shelter are up to date on their shots and will be altered and micro-chipped once they've been adopted. Visit their website ore give the shelter a call at 973-824-7080.
The Society offers free DVDs with all cat and dog adoptions at no charge. $300 worth of coupons are offered to each new dog parent and $100 worth of coupons for each new cat parent too!
The Tuesday's Tails Blog hop features shelter pets, all waiting for
their forever homes. Please consider featuring a cat, dog or any pet at
your local shelter on your blog and join the hop! Sharing these friends
will certainly improve their chances of being adopted!
Thanks
Dogs 'N Pawz for hosting the hop, in doing so, honoring Princess Phe!
