Looking For Gandalf!
Hi buddies,
Friends of my mom are staying in Santa Fe. Their well loved cat Gandalf got out of their home on the north side of Paseo de Prelate, off Old Taos Highway. They are heartbroken. He's a New York City kitty that never leaves the apartment. He's always in a harness when outside with his family. His people are frantic! Gandalf is out of his element there and is certainly scared. We'll be saying our pawprayers that he makes it home safely. If anyone sees him, please let us know.
Take care pals and thanks fur stopping by! Thanks to BlogPaws Fur Sponsoring the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop too!

Tuesday's Tails!
Hi buddies!
For this week's Tuesday's Tails, we'd like you to meet a few older kitties, that would just love to spend the rest of their lives in a loving home.
Here's Calypso!
Just look at that face! According to Friends of Linden Animals "Calypso is a beautiful tortie girl with lots of cattitude. She is lovable and totally enjoys being petted but does not like to be held or handled for long periods of time. Calypso prefers to do things her way and on her terms (a typical tortie trait). For this reason she would not be a good choice for a family with small children. She likes to play and enjoys napping in her hammock afterwards."
Next we have Stella!
Stella is a real beauty, with copper colored eyes! She's very feisty (look at that face!) and gets along well with other cats but she wouldn't be good for a family with children.
Now, meet Tracey!
We couldn't leave out Tracey, a sweet black kitty with beautiful eyes! Mom says she looks a lot like our Sparrow!
They've all been spayed and are up to date on their routine shots. These kitties and many more, can be seen at the shelter during daily adoption hours. If you are interested in adopting any of them, or for more information, please visit the Friends of Linden Animal Shelter's site to fill out the online application or contact the Friends of Linden Animal Shelter at folasinfo@gmail.com

Thankful Thursday!
Mom still is putting together our "BlogPaws Wrap Up", but since it's Thankful Thursday (or Fursday as I like to say, BOL!), we're going to give you a little tease about what the future holds for us here at Chez Prudence!
(Some cool chicks at BlogPaws!)
Chickens buddies!
So this week, we're very thankful fur dreams coming true! We'll be sure to post pictures of our progress with the coop and our new feathery pals!

Tuesday's Tails!
Hi Buddies!
Today we'd like to introduce you to Bennie, a very handsome 8 year old poodle!
Bennie is a sweetie, but his story is a heartbreaker. His owner was moving to a smaller home, and decided Bennie wouldn't fit in! Then we read that the owner's son would kick him, as if that's the way to stop the little guy from barking! *shaking coonhound head*
Despite all this, Bennie is affectionate, he loves to cuddle and play fetch but he'll do best in a home without children. He's up to date on all his shots and has been neutered and micro-chipped. Bennie is being taken care of by the kind folks at All Star Pet Rescue, in Linden, NJ. You can visit his page here!
If you would like to read more about Bennie (& perhaps have a space in your heart fur him), please visit All Star Pet Rescue or email them at AllStarPets@comcast.net.
We're wishing that all pets find their forever homes someday. Thank you to Dogs N Pawz for hosting the Tuesday's Tails Blog Hop!

Summertime & The Livin' Is Easy, We Hope!
Hi Buddies!
Summertime is almost here buddies and we've already had a heatwave in the Northeast! I don't know about you, but even 'though I'm a coonhound from the south, I don't tolerate the heat very well. Mom makes sure I have lots of cool water and keeps my cool-a-roo in the shade when we're hanging out in my yard.
Over the next few weeks, we're going to post tips for keeping our furry friends happy and safe in the heat of the summer.
Although we're sure most pet parents realize how dangerous it is to leave us unattended in a car, we still need to remind people that either don't know any better or just aren't thinking! Sometimes we do mischievous things because we just don't know any better, and we'd like think that's what happens when people leave their best buddies in the car! Sure, maybe you think it's only going to take a few minutes while you run an errand, leaving your best pal in the car, but those minutes are crucial! Better to leave us home than to take any chances!
Thanks to Petfinder for the cool (get it, cool BOL!) infographic, explaining what to do if you see pets left in a parked car.

Ratchet is at the Union Township Animal Shelter, Union, NJ. You can email the shelter for more information at friendsofunionshelter@gmail.com or give them a call at 908 851- 5230!
Since my fursibs don't want me to forget about the kitties needing homes too, meet Chaos and Curious! BOL! Purrfect names fur kitties if you ask me! We share our home with two black kitties too, Wren and Sparrow, so they would love it if someone could open their hearts and home for this pair.
Curious and his sister Chaos are friendly and very playful. They've been fixed, vaccinated, and are all set to go to their new home together! Union Township Animal Shelter has an extra special adoption fee for them, so they will be able to stay together.
