The Tuesday's Tails Blog hop features shelter pets, all waiting for their forever homes. Please consider featuring a cat, dog or any pet at your local shelter on your blog and join the hop! Sharing these friends will certainly improve their chances of being adopted!
Thanks Dogs 'N Pawz for hosting the hop, in doing so, honoring Princess Phe!
Hi buddies!
Today we would like to introduce you to
Honey girl!
Just look at that sweet face!
According to her bio, "Honey is a very motivated and high energy 8 month old pointer hound mix from the south. She is still very much a puppy on lead and gets very excited to meet and greet both people and other dogs. Her previous owners showered her with love and food but forgot the training. Once she grew out of the cute little puppy stage she ended up here.
"Honey will allow and even beg for you to touch and handle every inch of her. She loves to jump on people and has a very high energy level so she will need an active family to run and play with. She is a happy and well-adjusted puppy. She loves toys and is more than happy to share them with you. She will sit for food or treats but only for a second. She is gentle with taking food and doesn't mind sharing her food or its bowl. Honey is great with other dogs but her puppy energy and lack of self-control makes her better for dogs her size and energy level. Honey's favorite thing to do is get her picture taken. She will instantly calm and sit when she sees a camera pointed at her."

Now for some good news! Remember sweet Ratchet from a Tuesday's Tails a few months ago?
We found out that he has found his forever family! Way to go Ratchet!
The Friends of
Union Township Animal Shelter's Face Book page had the good news, but somehow mom missed it!
Here are the some of the most happy words we've read in a long time:
"
Friday
the 13th - Ratchet's luckiest day. 2 years, 8 months, 13 days. Unheard
of in a municipal run shelter. A dog with sensitive skin, high prey
drive, initially knowing absolutely nothing. He typically never would
have been given a chance. Ask anyone who knew Ratchy, he was worth the
chance, he still is. 2 years, 8 months, 13 days. He waited in his kennel
thinking the shelter was home and the staff and volunteers were his
family, and we all are.
"Today Ratchet found someone that didn't
overlook the big black dog in the last kennel. Today he found someone
that doesn't mind his prey drive, and will help him work past it. Today
he found someone that is ready to see what his skin condition stems
from, and help diminish it. Today he found someone that loves him as
much as we all do - and then some. Today he found someone that saw past
the big black dog, saw past the "flaws", and just fell in love. Today...
Ratchy found forever!"
Thank you to the wonderful people working at the Union Township Shelter and to all the shelter volunteers!
And thank you for stopping by!
