We're Back!

Hi buddies!

Sorry for being away from the blog, mom's been very busy since coming down to earth home from BlogPaws!

We've got so much to cover, she still has to do her BlogPaws "wrap-up" yet!

Mom was sorry that I wasn't able to go, but worse yet! She forgot "Flat Prudence"! Plush CK, the stand in fur the Stunning Kathy Keisha and Twitter sensation George the Duck managed to get packed for the trip out west, how could she leave my flat self behind?

*shaking head*

Well, at least she tried, BOL!

 So, despite the fact that I can open the magic cold box of goodies (known as the refrigerator by the people here) when I set my mind and nose to it, I'm pointing the paw at mom for being Mischievous on this Monday Mischief post!

 We have a lot of catching up to do pals! Some exciting product reviews are coming up and a give-away or two to boot!

Summertime & The Livin' Is Easy, We Hope!

 Hi Buddies!
        Summertime is almost here buddies and we've already had a heatwave in the Northeast! I don't know about you, but even 'though I'm a coonhound from the south, I don't tolerate the heat very well. Mom makes sure I have lots of cool water and keeps my cool-a-roo in the shade when we're hanging out in my yard.

     Over the next few weeks, we're going to post tips for keeping our furry friends happy and safe in the heat of the summer.

     Although we're sure most pet parents realize how dangerous it is to leave us unattended in a car, we still need to remind people that either don't know any better or just aren't thinking! Sometimes we do mischievous things because we just don't know any better, and we'd like think that's what happens when people leave their best buddies in the car! Sure, maybe you think it's only going to take a few minutes while you run an errand, leaving your best pal in the car, but those minutes are crucial! Better to leave us home than to take any chances!

Month of March Mischief!

Hi buddies! Sorry we've been away, the month of March is crazy fur mom. She's involved in a few Irish groups, and her whole month seems to be filled with different St. Patrick's Day activities.  It started out with the raising of the Irish Flag at at the County Courthouse.  

Then the Union County St. Patrick's Parade! It seemed like every weekend was full of Irish plans! I say, what about the hound! Who's the mischievous one now mom? BOL!

Mischevious Monday (& Everyday)!

    Hi buddies! What a weekend we had at Chez Prudence! I've got mom thinking I'm going through my second pupppyhood, BOL!
    I've been trying so hard not to help the kitties finish their food, really! So of course I needed to focus my skills at other things.... So I chewed the remote.... Again.
   But the highlight of our weekend was when I helped myself to the pork in the crock pot. I've never heard a shriek like that from mom before! She stepped out to the store, leaving me sleeping on the couch. Silly lady, she knows that I'm a scent hound! What was she thinking?

    She came home to the crock pot on the floor, with the insert broken. Oh, did I mention the pork? It was delicious (what I had of it)! Of course she was concerned that I might have been burnt or scalded by the contents, but I was pretty careful. It was pretty sad watching her throw it out. I offered to help with the clean up, but for some reason, she didn't think that was such a great idea *sigh*.
   So no more slow cooking here fur a while, at least not while I'm home alone!

I'm Made Fur Monday Mischief!

Any day's a good day fur mischief, barroooo!
Just look at this face! Look angelic, don't I? Can't fool mom 'tho.

After my breakfast and walk this morning, as she was getting ready fur work, she heard me go upstairs. She assumed (& never assume anything with a hound) that I was going back to bed. BOL!
Surprise! I very quietly ransacked her hamper. When she found me on the bed, surrounded by socks and sweaters, she wasn't too happy. Of course, she should have taken a picture, but she was a little peeved as she had to head out the door.
Oh well, maybe next time she'll remember to put the nicely folded laundry away. I had to take advantage of the opportunity while I could! Who could blame me buddies?
