Monday's "Mews"

Hi buddies!

       Remember the kittens left outside our gate a few weeks ago? Mom took them fur their first exam and vaccines shortly after. Fortunately they tested negative for FIV and FeLV which made her feel better, but she knew she needed to find homes fur them as soon as possible.
      Mom reached out to our Face Book and Twitter friends for advice about placing them. So many responded with wonderful advice. Valerie from A Purrfect World has been very helpful! She invited us to bring them to an adoption event held at the Petco in Verona, held by the people at PAWS in Montclair, NJ. Since these kittens are mom's responsibility, I opted to stay home, BOL! Not to worry 'tho. She brought home treats fur me and the house kitties.

So off they went to strut their cuteness at the store!

And one of the kitties managed to find herself a new family! Mom waved good bye to

one of the Spice kittens.

     Mom was so happy knowing that she'll have a wonderful life with her new people! She's bringing Cinnamon & Ginger back again next Saturday, so paws are crossed that they'll work their magic on aspiring pet parents!

         First we have some good news. Remember Dexter, the cute beagle we featured last week? The Animal Alliance of New Jersey pulled him from the shelter and he'll be fostered until he finds his new home. Yay fur Dexter!

We hope someone falls in love with Heidi, a beautiful Redbone Coonhound!

Just look at that sweet face! Since mom found me at Eleventh Hour Rescue, she has a soft spot in her heart fur coonhounds!

Tuesday's Tails!

Hiya buddies!
     It's my birthday today! So to kick off a week of celebration, I'm going to introduce you to a couple of Treeing Walker Coonhounds from Eleventh Hour Rescue in Rockaway, New Jersey. That's where mom found me! My wish is for someone to fall in love with these pups and give them a good home!

 Meet Rosie Anna! 

  Rosie Anna is 3 years old. She's blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow her down one bit! She loves attention and cuddles. She currently shares her foster  home four other pups, so she'd be a great addition to a home with other dogs. She doesn't get along with kitties 'though.

Meet Ginger!

  Ginger is a Coonhound mix, 1 - 2 years old. If you're in the area, you can stop by the adoption facility at the Petsmart store in Mount Olive, NJ. to meet her! The store is open 7 days a week. Dogs Are Worth It Too Day!

Every year, we go to "Because Your Dog Is Worth It Too" event, hosted by L'Oreal to benefit the Susan G. Comen "Race For The Cure". After a rainy start, the day turned out to be beautiful! We got an early start, which was a good thing. As the day went on, the crowds kept coming!

We got to meet Elwood! He was voted the "Ugliest Dog" a few years ago, but mom says he's "intriguing". And he's in a children's book now too! Pretty famous, I'd say! Elwood was accompanied by Coco, a cutie that was abandoned in an apartment, without food or water for days after his owner was arrested. Fortunately, a neighbor alerted Camden City Animal Control. Joa's Arc stepped in and Coco is now being fostered and is improving everyday.

Bloggers Unite For Dog Rescue!
